Who we are
Milestone Living actively promotes in a compassionate way the rights of children & young
people as individuals through provision of quality care. We assist in the provisions of
a safe and homely environment to ensure young people achieve their potential through
developing areas of weakness and maintaining areas of strength. Our key objective is to
promote opportunities to children and young people which will enable them to build and
sustain a better future through substitute parenting.
What makes us aspire to be
the number one partner for children and young people is that we dare them to dream and
together we make those dreams a reality.
Those in receipt of our services are
guaranteed, not only to get a service, but also to feel;

- have a sense of safety and security,
- compassionately cared for
- we ensure that everyone is treated as an individual with unique needs.
Our service will guarantee to respond to the ever-changing demands of individual assessment needs to ensure we effectively meet their needs at the very least and that the right staff with the right resources are always at their disposal. Milestone Living does not subscribe to a single theoretical or therapeutic model as it looks at every child as an individual.
WHAT WE DO
Our services are designed to meet the needs of children and young people all year round. We
provide outcome-based support which is individualistic and flexible to meet specific
individual needs. Our approach allows us to deliver a range of structured activities
depending on a person-centred plan.
Our core mantra is to ensure that every child
and young person will be able to fulfil their potential through our person-centred planning
that ensures their vision and aspirations are met.
We prefer our children and young people to be fully informed about our service before they
make their choice, and where needed a family member/advocate would also have access to this
information. Our aim is to ensure a smooth transition and seamless admission into our
services whilst minimising inconvenience and chances of anxiety to them.
Children and
young people in our services will have the opportunity to be supported to pursure their
education, apprenticeship, and employment ambitions. We will also support children and young
people to carry out other activities, social or otherwise of their own choice.
